Position Details

UNIFY is looking for a Security Consultant who can be responsible for the design, implementation and support of Microsoft security solutions for enterprise clients. It’s also important that this person has significant experience and an understanding of Microsoft’s cloud strategy. As a Security Consultant, you will apply both broad and deep technology and information security industry knowledge. As part of our team, you will deliver technical solutions to customers allowing them to maximize their investment in Microsoft technology, while protecting their Intellectual Property and Employees. You will provide technical leadership for other Consultant teams and engage in the complete lifecycle of security projects. Your key to success is your passion for customers, demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience: understanding security aspects, designing and developing secure solutions, and delivering through high quality engagements.


Service Delivery

  • Set up Microsoft Azure security solutions according to industry best practices
  • Provide leadership and support to resolve mission critical customer issues to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Participate in project planning, design, implementation and closure sessions
  • Create designs, implementations and ensures all cloud solutions follow strict security and compliance controls

Business Development and Relationship Management

  • Provide broad architectural support to customer and Solution Architects
  • Conducts technology envisioning sessions, including technology readiness assessments, health checks and project milestone reviews
  • Lead and assist development of standard operating procedures and best practices for Azure security solutions


  • Collaborate with technical architects and partners to identify and validate emerging opportunities

Best Practice and Personal Development

  • Work with customers and internal leads and architects to deliver global ready, secure Azure Cloud solutions

Selection Criteria

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the technology field with a proven background in the design and implementation of large scale, complex security solutions
  • Experience in securing Microsoft Client/Server Operating Systems including related services (e.g. Certificate Authority, authentication/authorization mechanisms, encryption, health attestation)
  • Knowledge related to Microsoft security recommendations (e.g. Securing Privileged Access, Credential Theft Mitigations)
  • Basic understanding of Azure Security Services (e.g. Azure Advanced Threat Protection, Azure Information Protection, Azure Security Center, Azure Log Analytics)
  • Knowledge of common attack vectors and tools (e.g. Pass the Hash, Golden Ticket, ransomware)
  • Project oversight responsibilities, project management and technical leadership, and engineer mentoring experience
  • Capable of technical deep dives into the Microsoft Security stack of products
  • Experience on SIEM stack will be preferable

    • CISSP

  • Australia or New Zealand security clearance desirable
  • An understanding of and commitment to compliance of Occupational Health and Safety requirements
