Building mobile apps for the MIM/FIM and PAM services with PowerApps
Carol shared some random points of interest from last week’s CIS 2016 conference:
- Microsoft has published new advice on password management research.microsoft.com/pubs/265143/Microsoft_Password_Guidance.pdf
- GOV.UK Verify programme
- SCIM v2
- User Managed Access
- The Logout problem
From Brian Desmond:
- Updates to the FIM PowerShell Module (originally started by Craig Martin): fimpowershellmodule.codeplex.com/releases/view/103901
From Ryan Newington:
- New Lithnet PowerShell commands for Approvals - included in Peter’s demo.
Peter walked us through setting up a basic mobile app using Microsoft PowerApps that can communicate with the PAM web services, or the FIM/MIM service via the Lithnet REST API. He demonstrated apps to request PAM access, and to review and respond to pending approvals.
