How Aurion data drives identity changes.

How does it work?
UNIFYConnect uses employee information from Aurion to manage access to corporate systems. It can create, update, and disable accounts in connected directories when employee records change.
How does onboarding work?
UNIFYConnect monitors agreed Aurion data for new employees and provisions accounts according to the customer’s rules. Accounts can become active based on start dates and can support role-based access, group membership, and licensing processes.
How does offboarding work?
UNIFYConnect detects termination events and can disable directory accounts when the agreed termination conditions are met, helping ensure access is revoked at the right time.
How does it handle role or department changes?
When an employee’s position, title, manager, or other mapped attributes change in Aurion, UNIFYConnect can update the connected identity record so access and organisational relationships remain aligned.

Which corporate directories does it support?
UNIFYConnect supports Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and other supported identity management platforms. If a target system is not listed, UNIFY can discuss available support options.
What do I need to have?
You need an Aurion HR environment, a corporate directory or supported identity target, and either internet connectivity for cloud-based targets or secure private-network connectivity such as UNIFYConnect Agent where required.
Do I need to install anything?
Cloud-only deployments may not require customer-hosted software. Private-network or on-premises targets may require UNIFYConnect Agent to provide secure connectivity.
What if I do not meet all prerequisites?
UNIFY can help assess readiness, including directory data quality, HR integration readiness, and network or security setup requirements.

Where is the service hosted?
UNIFYConnect is a cloud-based service hosted in Microsoft Azure, with regional deployment options based on customer requirements.
How secure is the service?
UNIFYConnect follows UNIFY’s managed service security practices, including encryption in transit and at rest, customer data separation, and controlled operational access.
Is payroll data accessed?
No. UNIFYConnect uses vendor-approved integration methods and should only use the workforce data required for the agreed identity lifecycle scope. Payroll data remains inaccessible under the recommended security configuration.
How frequently does synchronisation occur?
Synchronisation schedules are configurable based on business needs, target-system constraints, and the agreed operating model.
How do I get support?
Customers can access UNIFY support channels, knowledge base material, issue tracking, and assistance from UNIFY engineers according to the agreed service model.
