UNIFY is proud to announce our addition to the New Zealand Government’s ICT Security and Related Services Panel. The purpose of the panel is to provide all New Zealand government agencies with streamlined access to highly qualified specialist security service providers to facilitate the continuous improvement of security and privacy standards across the entire public sector.
The addition of UNIFY Solutions to that panel further highlights the recognition that Identity and Access Security plays a fundamental and increasing role in the security processes of all organisations including government agencies.
UNIFY Solutions New Zealand country manager, Tony Temaru, stated that “this appointment reinforces the assistance that UNIFY has already provided the New Zealand government with the preparation of its standard Identity and Access Management (IAMS) Framework for internal identities designed to support the new and increasing demands for cloud and shared government services.” A fundamental element of the framework was the definition of a range of standard IAMS patterns that were applicable to common agency integration scenarios. Approximately ten common patterns were identified and defined which addressed both Active Directory authentication and a range of Federation and Federated Trust patterns.
