Identity and Access Management projects are rarely easy or straightforward, and the technical specialists can only design and develop great solutions when they know what needs to be achieved. The big difficulty here is that often the customer doesn’t know what needs to be done in sufficient detail, and the technical consultant doesn’t know all the business needs and complexities. Enter the Business Analyst - a person with a range of communications and analytical skills that can help bridge this gap. When good BAs partner well with good technical IAM specialists, the very complex can be made (to appear) easy. This session will attempt to outline how a BA can make a technical specialist happy - without getting them drunk.
