01 / The UNIFY difference

Less friction. More control.

Since 2004, UNIFY has combined specialist advice, engineering and operational expertise to connect complex systems, govern access and protect information. We help leaders make better identity and security investment decisions, then turn those decisions into working capability.

  1. EfficiencyLess manual effortMore capacity for delivery
  2. RiskAppropriate accessFewer avoidable exposures
  3. AssuranceEvidence by designLess audit reconstruction
  4. TransformationControlled changeBetter use of investment

OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

Release capacity for higher-value work.

Connect business events with identity and access processes to reduce repeated data entry, manual account updates, rework and dependence on individually maintained scripts.

Measure: handling time, support demand and cost per lifecycle event.

RISK REDUCTION

Keep access aligned with business need.

Connect lifecycle changes, approvals, reviews and privilege controls so access remains appropriate as people change role, contracts expire or staff leave. Give exceptions clear owners.

Measure: access-removal timeliness, standing privilege and exception ageing.

AUDIT AND ASSURANCE

Make control effectiveness visible.

Connect ownership, approval decisions, execution records and review outcomes so access can be explained, failures addressed and evidence made available when required.

Measure: evidence completeness, review effort and unresolved findings.

INVESTMENT AND DELIVERY

Direct investment where it matters.

Assess existing platforms, native capabilities and dependencies. Establish what to retain, improve or replace, with achievable roadmaps that make costs, risks and sequencing clear.

Measure: avoidable expenditure, duplicated capability and agreed outcomes.

Our advice is grounded in the systems we implement and operate.

That experience helps identify integration constraints, transition risks and support requirements early, so recommendations account for what it takes to deliver and sustain the outcome.

DIRECTION AND INVESTMENT

Strategy, roadmaps and architecture

Assess capability, risk and operational constraints. Define the target state, evaluate options and develop the investment case. Set out priorities, dependencies and transition stages to guide what to retain, improve or replace.

MICROSOFT AND HYBRID IDENTITY

Entra modernisation and access

Design, implement and improve Entra alongside Active Directory and established applications. Strengthen authentication, Conditional Access, identity protection and privilege. Deliver staged transitions from MIM and legacy platforms, accounting for continuity and integration.

GOVERNED ACCESS

Identity governance and privilege

Establish ownership and policy. Implement Microsoft Entra ID Governance and Saviynt for requests, approvals, reviews, certification and separation of duties. Address privileged access and the ownership and lifecycle of service and workload identities.

INTEGRATION AND DIGITAL SERVICES

Connected identity across systems

Connect authoritative sources, directories and applications. Automate lifecycle processes for employees, contractors, partners, customers and citizens. Extend capability through external identity, delegated administration, identity proofing and verifiable credentials.

PROTECTION AND VISIBILITY

Cybersecurity and information protection

Assess security maturity, control gaps and exposure. Engineer detection, response and information protection with Sentinel, Defender and Purview. Combine identity context, vulnerability assessment and external threat intelligence to prioritise action.

SUSTAINABLE OPERATION

Managed identity, governance and security

Operate identity platforms, integrations and governance processes. Provide service management, application onboarding and continual improvement. UNIFYSecure adds 24/7 security operations and reporting on coverage, risk and required action.

Platform knowledge. Disciplined delivery.

Our Microsoft experience spans directories and MIM through Entra, Azure, Microsoft 365, Security and Digital & App Innovation on Azure. Our Saviynt practice includes architects and certified implementation practitioners.

Design assurance, testing, controlled releases, documentation, training and handover connect delivery with operational readiness. We agree ownership and success measures early and can strengthen your internal team.

03 / Orchestration, governance and assurance

Connect the business change. Verify the access outcome.

A new starter, role change or departure affects accounts, applications, permissions and privilege. UNIFY connects trusted business information, approved rules and operational controls so changes are consistent, failures visible and exceptions owned.

Reliable information. Controlled execution.

Validate attributes and matching rules, resolve conflicting records and assign data-quality issues. Apply approved account, group and entitlement changes through supported interfaces, with dependencies and sequencing defined.

Verified outcomes. Maintainable integration.

Check target-system results rather than assume a submitted request succeeded. Surface failures, retain evidence and resolve exceptions. Document mappings, integration patterns and rules, with repeatable testing and controlled releases as systems evolve.

Build on Microsoft Entra. Extend lifecycle control.

We assess native capabilities and existing integrations first. UNIFYConnect connects authoritative business systems, Entra, Active Directory and supported applications, building on useful SSO, governance and application investments.

Evidence built into operations.

Map applicable requirements to named controls and owners, including ISO/IEC 27001, Essential Eight and the Australian Government ISM where relevant. Align classification, retention and evidence handling with information sensitivity. Keep residual risks visible, with responsibility for treatment or acceptance.

Automation can repeat an incorrect decision as efficiently as a correct one. Validation, approvals and exception handling ensure errors are detected, assigned and resolved.

Framework alignment supports compliance; it does not itself establish certification or compliance for every system or obligation.

04 / Security and managed operations

Protection that continues after go-live.

Effective security operations need context: who is acting, what access they hold, what information they can reach and whether their activity is expected. UNIFY connects identity expertise with security engineering to investigate threats and address the control weaknesses behind them.

Context → Triage → Response → Reporting → Continual improvement

Microsoft security capability working together.

As a Microsoft Solutions Partner, UNIFY connects Entra access controls with Sentinel and Defender detection, investigation and response. Purview adds classification, sensitivity labels, data loss prevention and information governance. We design and tune these capabilities around risk, existing investments and the ability to operate them.

MANAGED IAM

Keep identity services reliable.

Support platforms, integrations and lifecycle processes through incident, request and change management. Maintain configuration, monitoring and operating knowledge so business changes flow into appropriate access.

MANAGED IGA

Keep access governance effective.

Operate reviews, certification and workflows. Onboard applications, refine roles and policies, test releases and help business owners resolve exceptions. Extend governance coverage as requirements change.

UNIFYSecure | 24/7 security operations informed by identity

Monitoring, triage, investigation and response, supported by threat intelligence and executive reporting. Identity context helps assess activity and coordinate action. Detection rules and response processes evolve as systems, access patterns and threats change.

An extension of your team, with clear accountability.

Agree coverage, escalation, response authority and ownership with internal teams and existing providers. Documentation, knowledge transfer and service reviews support continuity. Leadership reporting makes incidents, exceptions, actions and further investment needs visible.
