UNIFY have again sponsored “A Day for Jane” Charity event which was on Friday, 15 November 2019. Peter George, UNIFY’s Chief Financial Officer presented UNIFY’s sponsorship to Tracy Adams CEO of Kids Helpline. All funds raised at the Charity event are donated to Kids Helpline. The inaugural event in 2018 was a great success, resulting in a donation over $36,500 to Kids Helpline. This donation has gone some way to helping Kids Helpline keep their organisation running 24/7 and allowed their staff to accept calls and messages from thousands of young Australians in need all year round.
About Kids Helpline
Kids Helpline is Australia’s only free, private and confidential 24/7 phone and online counselling service for young people aged 5 to 25. Since 1991, Australia’s kids and young people have been turning to our professional, specialised counsellors, no matter who they are, where they live or what they want to talk about.
Over this time, Kids Helpline have responded to over 8 million contacts. For some young people, connecting with Kids Helpline has been a life-saving experience, while for others it’s about practical help and emotional support at the critical moment they need someone to listen.
